Just realized this is an old thread. I was totally out of the loop on this because I haven't bought or sold instruments on line lately, thus being the main reason I used photo bucket in the past. I looked up the rate and if it's correct that's one heck of sum for image hosting. $399.99 annually or about $33 a month. This plan does come with the ability to hotlink and virtually unlimited storage.
For $100 a year you still get plenty of storage space (over 100 gb) but no ability to hot link which I would think makes it unusable for most purposes.
If they wanted to keep customers it seems that instead of going from being a free service to a rather expensive one they would have instead just made it affordable.
