Humor, like obscenity, is in the eyes of the beholder. At least two people found it funny so it's funny.

Um... he was from Corsica. That'd be France.
Helloooo. Beuhler? Bonaparte's family was Italian nobility, he had to learn French before being admitted to military school, and he spoke with an Italian accent for the rest of his life. Corsica was part of the Republic of Genoa until just a year before Napoleon was born. Technically, he was French, but in all practical respects, culture, language, and descent, he was Italian.
