You shouldn't try too hard, or at least look up France on a map before you type anything that will make you look silly I gotta admit though, the Napoleon being Italian comment is one of the funniest thing I've read on TB

 

Helloooo. Beuhler? Bonaparte's family was Italian nobility, he had to learn French before being admitted to military school, and he spoke with an Italian accent for the rest of his life. Corsica was part of the Republic of Genoa until just a year before Napoleon was born. Technically, he was French, but in all practical respects, culture, language, and descent, he was Italian.
