Besides....a thread like this is really subjective, I mean, its clearly too hard to tell whether a war has been a victory or a defeat. What's really important is how people perceive the war!

He's the contrast to people here who do the same thing. Since I doubt many take either side seriously, no harm, no foul... just cheap entertainment.
Buddy, let me tell you something.
First off, the way I speak is my own, and not the french's. I wouldn't want it any other way, and you wouldn't either. Second of all, I've visited onlybass, and one thing I can say for sure is that everybody takes themselves VERY seriously, and arrogance, if anything, is key to the french.
Third of all, you just simply dont understand my humor, because you pretty much translate what I say into french, thinking thats how I do it. My english comes naturally, I speak it even better than I speak french, and no one else but you takes me seriously on TB, which, quite frankly, explains explicitly why you would make such comments.
In short, you do not have a clue about the person I am, nor the way I think, nor what my sense of humor is about. If you do not like my posts, feel free to put me on ignore, god knows you wouldn't be the first, and I sure wouldnt hold it against you. That said, pretty much 90% of what I say into the Lobby and OT is not to be taken too seriously, and if you do, its your problem, not mine.
On another note, before I started posting on TB, seems to me people had quite a ****** opinion of the french, which IMHO, I've corrected quite a few times, and now its all fun and games, people joke, but the kind of crap french bashing threads that used to be posted aren't anymore.
If anything, I gave a good opinion of the french on these boards, which is something, pardon me for saying so, that the french themselves simply cannot do, because you do not understand the saxon/american way of being, and you take offence in every little pejorative detail thats said about the french. How do I know this? I was the same way, and I see it everyday.
As for it not being hard to school me on history, you got that right. Not that I really care either way
