Got an iPad? WaveMachine Labs Auria half off next few days

I have been thinking of taking the plunge with Auria on the iPad. I've got buddies i collaborate with on commercial releases using Logic and Sonar who swear Auria is just as good. I was going to hold off until the iPad Pro (the giant iPad!) comes out next year, but I noticed Auria is now half off until Nov 7th. Just thought I'd pass this on in case there are other fence sitters out there.

Totalling amazing what an iPad can do now. Stuff buy now will carry forward to an iPad pro in the future.

Aren't people mainly using Auria for tracking and move the files into a PC- or Mac-based DAW for serious mixing/mastering? I love my iPad but would go nuts without having a big screen/mouse for serious production work. And of course there's the issue of having to buy the interface/preamps that work with the iPad....

There's a few album's from just iPhones. It's like the challenge that people did of 4 track cassette tapes years back. Or even "Direct to disk" didn't need a lot of track bouncing.

An iPhone or iPad is about equivalent to a PC. And cost as much or more. And they are USB Class compliant. The built in audio is HD. But it is good to see Android finally catching up.
