Got bored last night....

..... so I did some rearranging. I moved the B & B neck over to the MK jazz and pulled the dimarzios. Then I put in a set of Antiquities and wired in a series paralles switch. Then I put a maple P bass neck on the Surf PJ had here. Then I put the dimarzios into another body I had laying around and paired that up with a P bass neck I had also. I wired in another series/paralles switch and strung her up. Man I need to sell some of this stuff. Now I'm messing with stuff just to kill time. LOL!!!

Me too. Is that a white blonde finish on ash? I had a MiA Jazz like that for a few years, sounded awesome with a maple board.

Yea it's Mary Kay white over ash. It has yellowed a little bit so it's going blonde. This one had a maple blocked board before the rosewood.

What color's the PG for the natural Jazz?
Black, white or tort?

Tort guard, but I need to get a new one for it.

i love that pj

I love that white one!
And the surf green!

Thanks guys. They are both semi transparent finishes over ash. I think I like the surf better with the maple neck. I know I like the MK better with the rosewood.

I love the Surf. I want a Surf jazz with a B&B maple neck. Perfection.

Like this?

I assume the SX Surf Green is a refin, right?

Then neck is from an sx. The body is a mighty mite body that I finished.

damn man.. i got bored last night and all i did was make a sandwhich. i guess that why im fat and you have a ton of franken basses.

good job

LOL! I could stand to lose a few pounds myself.

That's the beauty of J and P basses - the interchangeability of parts and the variety of aftermarket stuff made especially for the 2 basses.

Yea, but the problem is that I have a pile of parts that I'm constanly looking at wondering what I'm going to do next. I think I might have a problem :help:
