I'm a guitarist and bassist who frequently alternates between pick and fingers on both instruments. I've always used Jim Dunlop USA Riffs 1mm since I started playing in 2014. The feel and shape of them makes me feel right at home and I find that the raised text helps me grip the pick better (I find it hard to play with other types of picks).
Another vote for the big purple Tortex 1.15 triangle picks. I like how easy they are to “regrip” if moving around in my hand.
While we’re on the subject. I find my hand is more comfortable with the fingers open than if I make a loose fist but I’m still gripping the pick the same way. It bet your muscles have to flex to close your fingers so an open hand is more relaxed.

The big tortoise-celluloid Fender Heavy 355 Style triangles. Double as throwing stars if need be.
I once (back a long time ago) kept an clean bar ashtray full of them on top of the amp, in case I dropped one and needed another one RIGHT NOW. On a break, I lit a cigarette, and parked it in that ashtray without remembering it was occupied. They catch fire fast, and burn with the most reeking chemical smell imagineable.
Didn't ever do THAT again . . . . .
