Got my new used Ampeg 8 Pro

By the way this video kinda sold me on the 8 pro. Listen that tone. Even if its plugged into a non ampeg cab. Can't understand a thing the German guy is saying though.
I really like the combination of the SVT-7PRO / SVT-410HLF. Great lows, highs, and medium tones. I have the HF Horn off, but it's nice to have if wanted, or needed. The settings on the 7PRO are easy, and quick to adjust to. The Mute is handy to have as well. I also like that both the head, and cab are 4 ohm. The 410HLF is 500 watts RMS, and 1,000 peak. With the 7PRO being 1,000 watts @ 4 ohms, I'm getting the full wattage out of the 7PRO with one 4 ohm cab. I also don't mind having a headphone jack to use.

I am maybe in transition here. Depends on how I like the Ampeg stuff live. I may drop the hartke and get a 7 pro and run 4 ampeg cabs.
Odd! Today I plugged in the hartke cab to try and figure out what two to pull first and listen to the remaining two and see if all 4 were blown and this was what I found out.
Well one of my videos with the Ampeg has resulted in a bass player writing me to ask what I was all using. Tonight he is posting on a Facebook page asking about how to hook up his rack components to the Ampeg. I asked him if he was the same guy who wrote me and he was. He just got the ampeg a day ago. He said my tone was the tone he's been looking for but could not find.
