First off - not using it as a replacement - I bought this as backup because of what happened at a gig in 2019 with a bad power outlet in a club.

That being said, it fits in either of my larger gig bags and weighs next to nothing. It’ll accompany me to any future gigs. Had enough throw at rehearsal to assure me it has the tone and vibe I need, and it’s worth the peace of mind. Oh, and it comes close enough for me to get the same tonal vibe I get from my old Series 6 preamp, so I don’t have to worry about bringing that lol.

... i carry one of these with me to every gig .
it's not my go-to rig , but it could save the gig if my regular amp goes down .
has a good DI and even has enough power { 200watts @ 4 ohm }
to be used on stage with a loud drummer .
:cool:

Yesterday it proved it could keep up as far as I am concerned. The fact that it has an XLR definitely helps as well but I run a clean DI prior to anything.

My ELF pushes an 8x10 Marshall all night long! It stomps all over the guitards and their Marshall 100 watt rigs.
