Hartke HA5000 + Peavey 410TVX + 115BXBW, Samson PB11, MXR M-80, 4U Gator case.
It sounds great, but there are two problems:
1. I blew the 8A fuse in the Hartke messing with the power cable - it was wobbly. You have to jam it in and it locks. No problem, got some 8A glass fuses somewhere.
2. The store delivered an 8Ohm 410 instead of a 4Ohm! The 15 is more dominant due to the extra 80W its getting, but it still sounds OK. I'm splitting the cabs up soon though, and 170W through the 410 won't be enough for rehearsal or gigging, so I need the 4 Ohm. Simple mistake, not really a problem as they can get a new one in a couple days anyway. But it's the wait
Things I've learned since yesterday:
1. 4x10s are heavy.
2. Gator are great.
3. The MXR bass D.I. rocks.
4. Full stacks are expensive.
5. The Samson PB11 looks great.
6. Hartke is ultra clean and has great lows.
7. The stock Hartke preamp tube is awful - too trebly.
8. Peavey cabs sound great.
9. 4x10s are heavy.
I should have pictures up fairly soon. Can anyone reccomend a really warm, fat 12AX7 preamp tube that doesn't distort easily(I don't need any dirt from it)
