Finally, a show about everyone's favorite Batman character....James Gordon! Right? Aren't you psyched? What could possibly be better than a show about Commissioner Gordon before he was a commissioner and before Batman ever came on the scene.





I think a show about Perry White's years in journalism school before he became the editor at the Daily Planet is long overdue.

Should be interesting. It's not very well known, but Gordon cut his teeth in an Untouchables-esque war with the Gorn mafia.

But the trailer looks good.



Gary Oldman did such a good job that no one will be able to convince us he's Gordon 100%, in my opinion that is.

Yes, he was on The OC. He then redeemed himself (IMO) by being one of the mains in Southland, a fantastic yet underrated cop show that began on NBC and ended on TNT.

I have hi hopes for Gotham but seeing how TV viewers dismiss well-made TV shows and choose to watch crap, it'll probably end after one season, good or not.

It might be good, but it looks like it'll just be another cop show that coincidentally is about characters from Batman.

Are they filming on location in Gary Indiana? Every time I drive through Gary I expect to see the Batman. It's very Gotham-esque.

A lot of that is New York.. Similar places to Law and Order, N.Y. Undercover, Power and other New York shows .... like under the highway on 125th St ... I am catching up with it.. It's OK .. Kind of campy .. very violent.. The guy that plays the character that will become the joker is pretty good.. Instead of reinventing the wheel.. he basically took ledger's version and spread it out ...
