Thinking of replacing stock fender tuners on 2014 fender American special p bass. Has some neck dive sitting down with strap on. Would these Gotoh gb640 tuners cure that or just maybe help a little. Hate to spend the cash and drill into headstock if it doesn’t cure it.
i haven't used that particular gotoh machine, but i can attest to the gotoh quality = very good/excellent! i have used res-o-lites and carbon-o-lites to reduce and eliminate dive and they always work for me. i've also used hipshot ultralites with success.

Cant understand why they don’t make the same footprint as a fender tuner so a person wouldnt have to drill new holes.
