GR Bass new Super Light cabs

The new version of the carbon fiber cabs are now available on Thomann's website.
Well, not really available yet, but at least we know the prices… ouch!
They changed the naming, GR Bass AT212 is now "GR Bass SL212/4 SuperLight Series"

Pricey, but please have a look at these crazy spec :)

SL212 - 700 W - sensitivity 103 dB SPL - weight 9,8 Kg - 21,6 lbs
SL210 - 400 W - sensitivity 103 dB SPL - weight 7 Kg - 15,4 lbs
etc

I've used and enjoyed a variety of gear over the years but this new GR Bass equipment has seriously captured my interest.
I'm considering their One 800 or 1400 amp and a pair of their SL210V+ (600w vertical) cabs. The entire load would weigh less than one of my previously owned 1x12 ceramic driver loaded cabs.

It's also convenient that I'm here in Germany for a while longer and can order and pick up the gear at the Thomann location which is only about 2 hours away. And I'm exempt from the Value Added Tax!

yes I wonder what is the SLC800 exactly
If I'm not mistaken, the SLC800 is a combo amp utilizing the One 800 amp platform and the 450w 1x12" speaker cab.
I believe it is S - L - C ("combo") 800 (800w amp).
I suspect it puts out 400w (8ohms) into the 1x12 and will drive another extension cab with the additional 400w that are available at 4 ohms.

I believe you are right, but then the product page on Thomann website is wrong - it is presented as a cab:

but i think it's the new name of this combo :

it explains the missunderstanding and the price

Is the sensitivity based on 1W or 2.73V?

If it’s 2.73V, then the 4 ohm cabinets require a -3dB sensitivity correction to compare with cabinets that spec. using 1W metrics

Good point. I couldn't find the info on GR Bass website so it's probably not 1W.
Bergantino also give sensitivity for 2.83 V / m but at least it's transparent

GR Bass products are always great quality.
But it happens to me with Orange OBC112 (that is around 25lb.) the head is not stable placed on it.
This is only 5lb. so I'm curious to know how much stable it is. I wait some review.

Looked but didn't see, is there a summary anywhere of how these differ from the current AT lineup besides weight? I have a 22lb AT210 that I love, but this gives me even lighter-weight gas (helium?)

Also looking forward to the inevitable featherweight match between these and the Markbass MB58R. My money's on GR, as the MB aesthetic was never my thing but to each their own.

Too heavy for me. 1000W, sub 10lbs is the new norm today.
