Grabber body with a fender neck.. WHAT?

In this video, this bass player has a grabber body with a fender neck. Presumably a j or p bass neck. Obviously we see that it can be done, but does anyone know how hard this would be to do? Could you theoretically put a telecaster bass neck on a grabber body?

interesting..i guess why not. People put fender necks on t birds, why not a grabber? Neck pocket probably has to be widened.

I'd actually think that a (real, with a squared heel) would be your best bet. You would probably have to make the neck pocket a bit wider... kind of like you do when making an Epi Fenderbird.

I've actually got a Grabberish bass in the planning stages that will have a Tele-ish neck.

I have also put a P neck on a T-40 once. I just sanded the sides of the neck a bit and squared off the heel.
