I have finally gotten around to using my planes that I made. Here I am shaping the pine top to my Czech Refab project. The planes work great. They need some fine tuning to allow more space for shavings but overall I like how they work. In particular the curved sole is quite good for removing material fast and for curved work. By rocking the plane you get a scooping action. The smaller one (on the bass top) in particular has a nice feel in the hand
