Oh, I know it all too well. I've been on TB for 25 years now (holy cats!) and I have seen it grow steadily.

I knew a man in Japan, that both busked in the summer heat and humidity of Tokyo and gigged, so graphite gave him the neck stability to better stay in tune. I don't get why someone would choose graphite over carbon fibre, or vice versa, it's pretty similar stuff, no?

carbon fibre is graphite fibre woven and bound with resin. tomato tohmahto. but it is rare that i see graphite used outside the guitar world. no one talks about graphite in cycling or f1 (where carbon fibre is the material of choice).
