Gratuitous Steve Harris Bass Pic

No reason other than being super happy with both my SH basses and no one ever complains about bass pics. The blue sparkle alder MIJ bass now sports a Duncan SPB-4 pup to match the white maple MIM model. They weigh 10 and 12 lbs, respectively, but I find them entirely manageable with Strapp guitar straps. The MIM really surprised me, has fantastic fit and finish and sounds killer (pun intended). Definite tone difference between the two even with identical setups, pups/heights, strings etc. but both great in their own way.

…and what the heck, they sound fantastic through the pictured rig too

Luckily, I’m indifferent as I don’t watch any sports ha ha. Aesthetically, I don’t mind it but I probably would’ve preferred it without it as well

Aesthetically (purely the look) it’s fine. Football wise, not so much.Still, could be a lot worse. Could be Arsenal.

I don't think the Old Gold or Baggie-stripes would suit in quite the same way, to be fair. Maybe OP could change out for a Millwall badge. Surely that wouldn't cause ol' Steve to pop off at all

Had one years ago, actually. Not a Steve Harris bass per se, it was sold as an Iron Maiden bass and had a basswood body I think.
