Great bassist with a pick...

If you're looking for a pick exercise in speed check out "Death Toll" by The Causalties. Lots of fast, accurate playing with smooth fills. All aggressive picking and it sounds awesome...if you're into punk that is.

Also a lot of stuff by Rancid is fun to play, all pick.

The stuff that's easy with a pick is easy with a pick. single string rides, linear scales, chords.
The stuff that's hard with a pick are things that are more easily done with fingerstyle, such as:

Staccato single string rides (play all downstrokes and mute each note with left ring finger)
Rebel Yell - Billy Idol

String jumps:
Good Times Bad Times - Led Zeppelin
Any disco song with octave basslines
Two Tickets to Paradise - Eddie Money
All Right Now - Free
Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin

Gallops: (bump badadump badadump badadump)
Diamonds and Rust - Judas Priest

Rolls:
Alternate up and down strokes with the very tip of the pick really fast, barely touching the string so it sounds like a smooth extended sustained note. The fresher the pick the smoother it will be.

Sorry the songs are all oldies, but you know old man gonna give old man answer.
