Norm Stockton is great. He is probably best known as a solo instrumental player but he tours with Christian artists such as Stephen Curtis Chapman and he wrote a book about being a Christian bass player. i just got his album Tea in a Typhoon and it is absolutely fantastic!

norm also has a great series of instructional videos on the specific nature of play Church music. I've heard do many church bassist that make me think "they may know Jesus, but next in line they need to know NORM"

Norm is such an awesome bassist and person. I am truly glad I have been able to meet him on multiple occasions.
