I picked up this body for $25 hoping to either restore or Frankenstein something. As you can see, the neck pocket is not standard. It appears the bass was made at Fujigen sometime in the late 80s or early 90s.
Ideally I could find a direct replacement floating around the internet, but that seems unlikely. I was thinking a neck another similar Fujigen made instrument from that era might fit.
Anyone have experience with one of these? Thanks!
