I haven't always been stuck in the pocket. I started out playing guitar when I was 12, but the jazz band in high school needed a bassist, so I picked up the band's Lyle and thought, "Hey, it's got strings, this can't be so bad!" Here I am, six planks, one upright, and almost 14 years later. The habit has gotten so expensive I've resorted to building my own from scratch so I can sample those delicious exotic woods! I know I cannot beat this on my own, and that is why I am here.
