I'm redbeard74 from Georgia. I play a Fender Jazz Geddy Lee model, GK Backline 120, and I just bought a used Ampeg PR-410HLF last weekend (raising funds for a head).
I have been playing bass for about 18 years and just recently started playing more (new band).
Things I am planning to do next:
Buy a head for my Ampeg cab (Genz Benz shuttle 6 maybe)
try some flatwound strings (GHS I think)
get a pickup cover and bridge cover for my Jazz
