I'm sure your get many guitarists who have switched over to bass. Well here's another! Not switched exactly, I'm just keen on being good at both. There are a few things I need to work on but I'm getting there with lots of practise.
I've always prided myself on being aware of and leaving space for the bass in terms of the frequency spectrum and creativity, but it hasn't been until I've started playing the instrument myself that I've started to get it more. It's changing my whole approach to... We'll, everything! I'm loving it.
I'm even enjoying the practise, something I'm guilty of not doing enough with guitar. I know I've developed bad habits on guitar and don't want to do the same on bass.
Anyway, I'll be lurking around!
