Hi guys, I'm new to the forums. I've lurked for a long time but I decided to register finally. 
I'm not sure why, but I recently I became infatuated with bass. I've played guitar for a long time, with a little bass on the side. But it was never more than a fun side hobby. But I've got the bass bug now and I'm totally into it.
I just overhauled my old Epiphone Viola bass with new pickups and electronics, and I've been having a blast playing it. I don't have an amp but I picked up a T21 VT Bass DI, which sounds amazing btw, and run it into my DAW to mess around with. I'm already looking at picking up a second bass. Probably a J bass. Not sure yet.
Anyways, thanks for having me and I look forward to perusing the forums here looking for good tips and info for a noob like me.
