Greg Arama killing it on a mudbucker 1970 live with Terrible Ted

'72s Hibernation vibe is all over Migration with Greg's sound carrying on after his departure with Rob Grange reprising that style into the next phase of Nugent's career. the Pony Express / Fang era* is still my favorite and here we get the precursor to it all. Ted always went thru band members like crazy, we see no John Drake added in yet, still just the Duke's core with Andy Solomon on vocals.
* Zappa created DiscReet to invest in bands who'd otherwise likely never get on a label to be heard, at the same time Ted and Frank are often driving together between shows and yacking it up, Ted at the wheel while Frank smokes / drinks coffee, thus an uncommon union is formed. Call Of The Wild & Tooth Fang and Claw (w/Hibernation) were released before Ted hooked up with Epic Records in '74, then became infamous.
