so i was bored during a class period and was browsing through the expensive basses on musicians friend when i stumbled across Gretsch's bass version of the white falcon. Has anyone played or know of where i can get a hand one of these beauties?

Someone told me that for the money it isn't worth it.![]()
i've always liked the sound/look of a white falcon guitar. I just want to play it to see if its truly worth it

Get to a local GC and tell us how it goes.
They have 'em there, right...?

One of our T.B. brothers had one for sale about a year ago. I don't think it sold the first time around, but he did sell it several months after this first posting. Here's the original thread. Won't do you any good now, but could induce some serious salivation...

Aren't Gretsch basses made in Japan? If so, $3500 seems very steep to me when a Sadowsky or Lakland are $1000-2000 new.
