According to my reference book, this is INCORRECT, but McCartney did play some lead guitar on the track.

Prepare to have an entirely new appreciation for Paul. I always really liked his bass work, but when I started learning Beatles songs, I realized his genius and loved his songs so much more. It started a slight obsession with his work, haha. I also found that a lot of his stuff is far more difficult than I was anticipating. I wish I could think like him, he's an excellent songwriter.
