Back in the 2000s I tried stacking my Eden D-210XLT cabs vertically and thought it sounded thinner....so I flipped them back to a horizontal stack and loved the beefy . punchy sound.....Knew nothing about the acoustic physics then...and also watched what all the pros were doing

If you set up early and you cab sounds gack, move it over a bit, or fwd, or back, depending on space... Pull casters, or put em in, get off the dolly, or put it on the dolly. Put thicker carpet on dolly to decouple better...

Little things can make a difference... Played rooms with spots like black holes....

...and never have it directly behind that psycho-doppler mind bending obnoxious ass alien turds based ride cymbal from the lower level of the bottom depths of hell...

There's no need, stacked vertical or clustered horizontal the cab polarity remains the same.

I've seen pros at every level make the same engineering mistakes that newbies do. Just because you're a great player doesn't make you any more gear savvy than the next guy.

As Rick said, the change of stacking didn't do anything to the polarity.

To check polarity you do the 9v battery test. If you should find it is messed up, well, that should be fixed, but you're highly likely to find it's fine.
