So basically I bought a Dimazrio Split P for my Aerodyne PJ Bass I did the wiring and finished it. There was no problem everything was fine. I grounded each Pot and grounded the bridge and jack. But recently the bass made that sound when it's not grounded so I opened it up and its still the same wiring as before nothing came loose. What is going on? Thanks

Grounding problem AGAIN!

What sound would that be? It's hard to figure out exactly what problem you are describing:
1) Does the sound cut in an out?
2) Does it go out as you rotate the controls?
3) Is there no sound at all?
4) Is the sound just a loud humming sound with no signal?
The hum goes away when I turn off the volume pot But the pots are indeed grounded. And as i turn the tone pot it makes a scratch noise. This is so frustrating
Make sure you're not using coated strings. That can mess with grounding.
Check your solder points and make sure they're shiny. You might have a bad connection though everything feels tight.

Touch up all the solder connections on your tone pot. It's a P-Bass so fortunately there's not a lot to it.
