Opinions on the recording? I'm learning a bunch of new things... figured just shooting out some things would help.

There's too much of reverberation and the sound is too blured.

EDIT: Actually READING your OP.... :o

It seems like a mic placement problem. Whats the mic? Condenser, dynamic? If its a condenser type it's prolly just a mic placement thing. I found that I could get quite the bass "bloom" from an eight inch :eek: :eek: :eek: speaker, depending on where I put the mic.
 
Yeah, all my mic'd recordings had been done with SM58, so this is all new. I think this mic has a much larger dynamic range and I'm clipping the mixer. I hope to spend some more time educating myself tonight... I'm not recording genius.
