Do guitar pedals work with bass? Can I damage them this way?
Guitar pedals will function with a bass, but the quality of the resulting sound will vary. Experiment! No harm will come of it.
Some he may not want to use with one or the other, but he can always leave them off. The problem is lugging around a giant board gets cumbersome, so that's why some of us use separate boards for each. But there's no harm in it, and he'll probably find he likes some of them on both.My son plays guitar & bass and wants to put ALL his pedals on a giant board. I'm not sure what to tell him as to the order. Before my next thread which will list all the effects , I thought I'd check with you gearheads! Thanks!
So he's got the following guitar and bass pedals on one board. He's only using them on the correct instruments... what I need is some input (no pun intended) as to the pedal order: 1) boss tuner, 2) crybaby wah, 3) digitech RP50 multi-effects, 4) chorus, 5) Bass envelope filter, 6) loop station, 7) phaser, and 8) reverb. Any time/advice would be much appreciated!
