Great bass. The couple I had tried several years back were built real well.
From what I remember it has standard Japan pickups/electronics/hardware.
Looks of a 75 with 60s pickup spacing though.

For that price I'd snag it if your looking for a Jazz.
Oh man thanks! Does it have active/passive switching from what you remember?

$750 for a new V-4b is the best deal I've seen for one of these. Someone should hop on this.

Except for the fact that it is a USED 100W Ampeg tube amp for $750. AND....when you consider that the post previous to yours lists a used 300W Ampeg tube amp for only $799, I think that for the $50 difference, I would choose the SVT2PRO!~

If I didn't already own a Peavey VB-2 225W tube amp, I would be all over THIS one.

I've actually had this SVTIIP in my cart since it came up, but I actually agree with Burwabit. I have a V4 that I prefer to the SVT2Pro I had before it. This one for sale now is cool because it's a premier edition, but even that's only cosmetics.

Either way, I'm surprised it's still there. Those seem to sell here for $1k.

It seems like the cab in the picture is a GB Uber 410 and the description is a Focus 410.
I would advise anyone in the Seattle area in need of a great cab to drop by and verify.
If it is the Uber, for $299 that is a steal.
One of the top 5 410's for me. I still have one and use it for most of my gigs.

1000 W / 4 ohm / 45-18k Hz / 103 db / 70 lbs.

Wow! If the picture is of the correct item, it IS an Uber 410. And IF it's in "Great" condition like it says, it is indeed a steal. These are killer cabs. I've had one for years...

I was playing this Fender Jazz Special at Akron store yesterday:

It has belt rash and some cosmetic nicks and fretboard and neck need cleaning, but felt nice overall. Great sound and great neck! It has quarter pounder pickups in it.

I like the guitar, but not too keen on the red. I noticed there were two black ones for same price at other GCs:

Anyone play these other two? I feel reluctant to buy a bass without trying it first. BUt I know MIJ basses are pretty good.

Thanks
