I had a horror store buying online with guitar centers used site,basically they charged my card 4 times, my account over drafted and I never got the bass.

Granted, this post is based on one GC experience ordering 'sight unseen.' Two Saturdays ago, I ordered a not-beginner Ibanez semi-hollow model guitar, AM83. That one has been here for a week.

It was listed as Great Condition by the store. Let's just say, I'm glad I did. Those in so-called 'good' condition are a mixed bag, let the buyer beware!

I got one of these for $300as well. Worked great for a while. I replaced the caps and new got new tubes (still only in it for $600) and it is a beast. Sounds amazing, heats up quick and gets that dirty Ampeg sound when the tone put is rolled up. I love it even though it weighs a ton. It only makes it out of the studio to special gigs, most of the time I bring my Class D to rehearsal. NOTHING, and i mean nothing sounds like this thing.

Totally true. Only reason I didn't snag it is because I already have a regular V4 w/ channel two modded to V4B specs. I love these things. If you haven't tried one, the Wren & Cuff Phat Phuk B sounds killer pushing the front end a bit.

The V4Bs aren't actually that heavy. They're only 100W, so not nearly as bad to move around as a SVT.

It still might need a fortune in work though.

Yep. I only order basses from them and only if the bass is a well-put together model.
