I am going to sound cheap , but it doesnt do it for me pricewise, $429 then throw in tax and its kinda a blah deal to me.

I buy so many basses but its because I see ridiculously low prices and I cant walk away from a good deal if i wouldnt starve buying it.

yeah new aerodynes around 700 these days & mint one on ebay + case is 555. this one 429 is road worn. no danke. i got the aiken though. like new.

while not technically used there are some gems i found recently, gc hollywood has several new red yamaha bb basses in the upper right corner or the bass section that are on clearance, because i guess they can't sell them or something

The Sherman Oaks GC also had a oly white MIM P bass in great shape, one of the newer models with the cleaner looking logo for $250. If they could do that out the door without tax that would be a sweet deal. I was tempted but I only allowed myself strings

Sorry I dont know. I never saw it online , just in person. If you are pretty interested I would call the store and ask.

Yeah its just not there for me. If it was a non export one I would grab it. I got a thrashed one of those in dolphin gray for $325 once.

I am going to be curious to see what you do with it pickguard wise.

$300 isnt some screaming deal for what is I am guessing a standard MIM fender but it has a hardcase and the anondized guard is a nice change. Plus what a nice burst.

Fender MIA standard jazz in Commack NY for $500 with a case. Apparently in rough cosmetic shape but with good frets and electronics. It's apparently a 97. If I had the $500 i'd drive over there right now. The guy I got on the phone sounded kinda desperate to sell it. He may be willing to come down even less than the $500.

That jazz 24 is kind of beat up. Not a bad price, but the pictures really don't capture all the wear and dings that it has. It also has rather high action, but that may be easily fixed with a setup unless the neck is wonky. It was really hard to get a feel for how it really plays with the action being so high up.

damn i keep coming back to this. NEVER ever saw a US Jazz for 500. never. I just bought a bass, a body, & two loaded necks this week I dont know if i regret it but damn this is the best deal
