Guitar players corner!

I remember this ad in an issue of Guitar Player magazine.

These are my two #1s (both heavily modded)...

I do own another MIJ strat like this which has the hex/midi guitar role (TriplePlay installed), an el-cheapo Jackson JS22 which has the hex/midi guitar role too (Boss GK5 installed), a Parker Fly Deluxe and a Parker Fly Classic...but these two are the guitars that I actually play on a regular basis.

I've gone "digital" since 2011 for pretty much everything so no amps for me (Kali Audio LP6 2nd wave studio monitors, Blackstar Artist Special FR or headphones, all through the FM9T)...

I've got that same model down in the basement - actually located a replacement for the missing bridge and a motorcycle valve spring for the fake Bigsby - perfect fit!
I don’t have an original bridge, but found one that should work with some sanding, I hope!
I bought a Reverend Spring that fits perfectly.
Any other info on it?
I had hoped to have it together by now, but life happens.

Got to admit I don't know much and haven't researched it. It was given to me by an old friend over 40 years ago. It was a wall-hanging in my office from '87-2001 and sometime in the early aughts, I got it working and gave it to my son, who never showed any interest (he's a ridiculously talented visual artist).

From what I recall 20+ years ago, the pickups were pretty meh - I was hoping for a little more nastiness for maybe some open-tune slide work. May it just needs a pickup height adjustment - might need to bring it up from that basement.

Or I'll just turn it into another wall hanging - or ceiling fixture.

I’m prepared to swap pickups, but I am okay with something odd, or not what I would normally use.
