Tell me about this 'String Connection' that you speak of. I've lived in Arlington a long time and don't recognize the name.

It is a pretty small shop of of I20 and Little Road behind the Hooters sort of.

The do lessons and focus on violins, bluegrass, and acoustics. The owner Don has worked in many shops around town doing repairs for others. He does pretty good work. He gets swamped and can take a few days to a week. But that's better than Charlie's over in Dallas. They are running months behind for setups.

Yeah, Larry Morgan Music is gone for good. A buddy of mine stopped by there last week, peeked into the window and everything is gone, just bare walls. I think there was a sign saying that Zoo Music is going to move into the space were LMM was. I guess It's time for Dave Anderson to expand the Zoo.

Actually, the sign said something along the lines of Zoo is happy to help Larry's customers, IIRC. I don't remember anything about them moving Zoo over on the sign. Besides, there's a check cashing place between them that is still open.
