Guitar Tubes?

Hi all, i am wondering if there is any difference between the tubes used for guitar preamps as a opposed to the tubes in bass preamp. Right now im running my buddies traynor 2x12 and with the line out running directly to my amp. will this cause any damage?

No difference in tubes whatsoever. A 12AX7 for a guitar amp is the same as a 12AX7 for a bass amp.

You won't hurt anything doing this, as long as you don't use the guitar speakers for bass.
