guys, don't try this at home

Hahahahaha :D

That's epic.

:D

What's really ironic is that at the time (high school), my primary mode of transportation was a heavily used Mongoose BMX style bike with no brakes. Why it had no brakes, I never learned, but it cost me all of 30 bucks plus what it took for new tires. I liked it because I could hop over curbs and go down steps and what not, so I could make a bee line rather than stick to the roads.

You'd think I would have broken something on that thing.

I broke my nose once from eating blueberry pancakes. That really sucked.

Story? :eyebrow:

The blueberry pancakes, yes...
Was in Albuquerque, NM visiting a friend. Watched his band play at the Launchpad, then went for a 1 a.m. breakfast: blueberry pancakes. It was only so so, blueberry goo totally drowned the pancakes. So after we got back to his place, I was feeling a bit gross, so decided to crash. I woke up a little later feeling so effing nauseous, I was sure I was gonna puke. I got out of bed, and the room was pitch black. I started making my way towards the door, and got really dizzy and light headed. I pitched forward and just started to drop, smacking my face into the doorjamb on the way down. I actually passed out for a few moments, and when I came to and drug myself into the lit bathroom there was blood dripping from my now slightly crooked nose. Later the doc determined I had a deviated septum and a hairline fracture in the small bone in my nose.

I was on the step team in HS, and we used to step with canes, and one if our steps involved a really hard hit in the ground, and then sliding our canes down our back. Well, I didn't move my head out of the way properly, and, long story short, I hit myself square in the face with my cane. I had a welt across my face for a few days, and then looked like William Wallace for about a week.

This summer me and my girlfriend went on a boat trip. I decided to jump to the sea from the height of the deck. It was a bit scary but fun experiment.

And hour later I wanted to do it again but my gf didn't want me to as it was dangerous.
It was wet, I slipped on the edge of the deck and began the uncontrolled free fall.

I landed on my left side, hit my head to the water ( yes, "hit" my head to water, it felt like concrete not water ) and learned why people die when they fall into water from heights.

I opened my eyes in the bottom of the sea with no air left in my lungs, feeling dizzy as if I just had a boxing match with a grizzly bear and headbutted one of it's hooks.

A man that saw how I fell says this to my gf:" He fell really bad, I don't think he's coming up ".:D

Luckily nothing was broken, It took a month+ for the skin to heal on my left side. My stomach was dark red for a month.:p
