Also, not entirely womanly sounding, but Ian Gillan-Deep Purple. I love the guys voice, but again, some definite high-notes. Perfect example: Child in Time.


I really wish I could sing like Gillan or Plant.

Here is another Nick Gilder hit song called You Really Rock Me. I used to do this in a band back in 1979 and we had a female singer do some of the vocal parts.



Interestingly, in 1978, Hot Child In The City earned him two more Juno Awards: "Single of the Year" and for "Most Promising Male Vocalist of the Year" in Canada.
