Funny you should mention Burke Shelley in a thread titled "Guys who sing like Chicks". I remember the first time I saw the Youtube video for "Breadfan", at first I thought he was a girl, and I thought how cool it was to have a chick rocking the bass in a 70's rock group. Then I realized it was a dude. Still a kick ass song though.
