The missus and I are thinking about getting gym memberships, so I thought I'd see who is going where and how much ya'll are paying.
We live near a 24 Hr Fitness, a Ballys, and not too far from an LA Fitness. From the websites I could only find fees for the 24 hr fitness, and that was like $33 a month, with first and last months fee as well as a $10 initiation fee being due at signing. For one person. I couldnt tell how much it would be to add a second person though.
So, where are you going, and how much do you pay?

Playstation 2: $60
Any Dance Dance Revolution: ~$50
$110 will get you possibly one of the most fun, fat burning "machines" around and you can use it any time you want in the comfort of your own home. Just put up a sign promising to murder anyone that comes within 10 meters with any sort of video recording device... unless your really good, lol.
Ha!
My monthly is zero and I work out 6 days a week. I paid cash for a used bowflex and skipping rope.
In my experience the convenience of working out at home really is all it is cracked up to be on the infomercial. The guy I got the basically unused machine off would differ! I guess it depends on your motivation.
I hate DDR. Plus, moving my feet in an Up, Down, Left, Right pattern isnt going to do much for my beer gut or my arms.

Any cardio excersise is going to help loose the beer gut

A 6-pack is built in the kitchen and cardio room, not by doing crunches.

I pay about $55 for a boxing gym....
Alcohol is so bad for putting on fat but most people don't know why. It diverts your liver from metabolising any digested fat in your blood so the fat cells grab it into "storage".No, no. A 6pack comes from the kitchen. Or garage, if thats where you keep your cold beverage fridge.

For the same reason it kills your attempts to burn off fat with proper eating and exercise. burnthefat.com
