Had a stroke

Thoughts and prays to you. I was lucky 6 years ago and started suffering mini -strokes from TIA disorder. Two of the strokes put me in the hospital. Two left me to suffer thru for almost an hour alone in my car after I pulled over when feeling something wrong in my head. I had the full left side paralysis, slurred speech..pure hell. Today on medication I am good.My illness doesn't compare to what you are going thru but i can understand it some Good luck to you !

No matter how slow or painful therapy and recovery may be, don't ever give up. My grandfather had a stroke and just gave up on recovery afterwards, and he was gone in 3 months. I'd hate to see it happen to someone else. Stay positive, and I wish you the best of luck!

Wellcome back Chunk!

My grandpa had a stroke,he turned into a vegetable at first than he got his functions back even at that age. Also my father's uncle had a stroke and he's as good as before now.

Do not forget how amazing the human body is.I wish you a speedy recovery.;)

I can't begin to understand what you are going through, but it is a blessing that you are still with us. I totally agree on the therapy, it will save your life. I have a 20 year old son who suffered strokes on most of the left side of his brain, along with multiple Traumatic Brain Injuries. I still keep the faith that he will recover more and more each day. If you ever need someone to talk to, PM me. I may not completely understand, but, as a father and a caregiver, I might be able to cheer you on when you need it. Prayers are going up for you! That's the real miracle!
