Hagstrom dating?

I can get my hands on a vintage Hagstrom 3/4 bass. I want to double check the date that was given to me. Is there a site that I can go to or can ayone date this for me. Thanks very much!!! Looks like an old EB style, double cut away. Sounds great! Here's the number

53 894120

I think by the research I've done it is a 1973. Just wanna make sure. Any other info is greatly apprieciated!

The bass is a Hagstrom H-II-BN from production run 894. That run produced 250 of them.

Seeing this bass was the 120th one made in that run, it's difficult to say for sure if its a 73 or 74 because production run 894 started in 1973 and finished in 1974.

BTW, this is a medium scale bass (32")
