HAH! Funny, but unfortunate!

Someone posted this in one of the many [bad] tattoo threads and I had to keep it.

SuicideNoteTatoo.gif

Hahah, out of all the fake tattoo pictures I don't think anyone involved ever tried to pass this one off as 'real'. It's just a joke if ya work in a shop.

Let's all remind outselves, that she wanted a tattoo of Narnia. Good looking? child please!

What was done to her ain't right... But Narnia? Really?

While I agree that a Narnia tattoo isnt a great idea, its what she wanted to get tattooed, and not a steaming pile of dung. All kinds of people have what others would call "stupid tattoo's" but they at least chose what to put on themselves.

I'm all for poetic justice. Sure, the pain of being cheated on eases in time, but it never truly goes away. I've experienced this myself, I've seen it happen to friends, and I've seen it happen to my own mother - heck, the women is still pissed even after nearly two decades have passed. I think some sort of retaliation can go a long way in helping the initial victim out.

As they say, if you can't stand the heat then get out of the kitchen. If you can't live with the possible consequences that may be bestowed on to you because you cheated then don't cheat - or at least don't cheat and then stick around like you've done nothing wrong. I don't normally condone getting back at people, but in this case I'll turn a blind eye.

Im sorry, but if you cant get over being cheated on thats your own problem. Relationships end for all kinds of reasons, and its the individual who has to recover and move on, rather than dwell on the actions of others. Yes, being cheated on hurts. So does being left because your s/o is no longer "in love" or has feelings for someone else. No one deserves permanent scarring for hurting someone elses feelings. Thats the most childish "revenge" Ive ever heard of. After all, they say living well is the best revenge.

Im glad to hear that this story is fake.
The Smoking Gun is calling BS on this.

Yeah, I'm in agreement with Mr Matticus here.
Being cheated on sucks. It hurts and takes a while to get over, many of us can attest to that, but permanently scarring someone in revenge..? Nah, not cool.
Not only is it wrong, but the guy (if the story were real) could end up in a lot of trouble - so how would that be "revenge"? "Revenge" would be getting over the chick fast and moving on. But if you just HAD to do something, then sleep with her best friend or something. win/win. Win/lose ain't revenge at all.

I think the idea that physical harm always outweighs psychological harm (or vice versa) is rather specious.

For example, sometimes verbal assault is worse than physical assault.

And Im sure youre aware that that is not the point I was making at all...

Psychological harm from being cheated on is minimal, or in the least, can be gotten over.
Psychological harm from having to live with an unwanted permanent scar is much higher, and would take a lot more to learn to deal with, IMO.

For you, in your opinion...

For some people, the emotional scar would be much WORSE than the physical scar.

Neither side is right or wrong, just different.

Those people are weak, mentally, to not be able to move on from being cheated on. In my opinion.

I have to call BS, in this situation. Yes, being cheated on sucks, but if that is worse to someone than being permanently scarred, Id say that person needs a better sense of self.
I doubt that many will say being cheated on is worse, though Im sure there are some.

Oh I know it's fake. You can see it's really a sharpie in his hand. I kinda thought the dung pic was fake too, since it looks like it was done with markers as well. This thread could have been really fun if Matticus didn't take it so deadly serious... :p

BTW What would be REALLY funny is if the tattoo was actually the scene she wanted, but with her and the cheater friend incorporated into it in some kind of lewd position. That would have been a way better viral hoax....
