HAIKU! gesundheit

I'm much too humble to read the rules, but i wonder if this thread could actually qualify for the technique section? The complex patteren of my haiku could surely be applied to advancing one's knowledge of theory. Haiku, like bass playing, is a disapline. They are both ever evolving artforms with a very major thing in common..in bass playing AND haiku, often times LESS is MORE. Who do i speak to around here about inheriting my very own Ask A Pro section?

Very eloquently put Buster Groove. If he'd blunder a pattern of haiku, surely he'd blunder major musical changes and turn-arounds in a gig setting? See how these 2 disaplines are intertwined? To the undisiplined individual, it would seems as if Mr. Miagi was getting his jollies making Daniel- San "paint the fence" and "wax on wax off"...all the while he was teaching him muscle memory, how to properly block the endless punches thrown @ him from the countless bullies who prey on kids with Daniel-san's swagger. He was teach him disapline.

bleh, i'd easily win a bass-haiku throwdown, build my solo around the 5th and the 7th. True haiku fashion. "math slap" (patent pending). One more thing, what do i have to do to get some pics posted in my profile, spend some $ ? Im under the suspicion that some of our brethern are under the assumption i have lady parts? :help:

Correct, a paid membership is required in order to have an avatar pic.

I doubt anyone assumes that. Females are so few and far between on this site that we never make such assumptions. If one claims to be female, sufficient evidence must be provided.

huh? im not female..i thought you were!? lmmfao! talk about your "ackward moments"! Some jokes aside, i need a PAID membership to show off my lovely basses and post vids of some of my mighly animated, *moderately entertaining performances? Im a single father, and my daughter's perfect grades holds my wallet hostage, is there a waiver procedure? What if i volunteer to sweep up and empty some wastebaskets after hours @ talkbass? I have this picture in my head of the talkbass headquarters looking something like the Disney castle.I bet it's like a giant, botique Guitar Center..but with rollercoasters and everyone breaks out into song @ random times...and nobody ever grows old.

*attempt @ modesty

@CalboDaGo: You can add a copy of your photos to a website like Photobucket and hotlink them into threads whenever you need them. I haven't done so, but I imagine you can also add videos to Photobucket.

Hmm... Going out on a limb here; just a hunch...

My wife's a Filipina and the word Calbo had been tossed my direction a few times. lol Am I onto something?

I play a sixer. I user my Cirrus 5'er in its hard case to elevate my right knee while practicing in sitting position. I hang my hat on the headstock of my old 4 banger P while it stares @ me wantingly from it's permanent place on its music-go-round on-stage stand. Every time i pinch out a harmonic on my C string, a pair of white doves make their way into the venue and land on my straplocks.
