HAIL SATAN!

I guess if that's what you're into, then whatever; I'd never own that stuff no matter how good it is for two reasons: I'm a Christian, and I'd rather have a pedal board that doesn't look like my demented 4 year old nephew did the graphics. Doesn't look like they do anything that isn't available elsewhere.

There's always one that has to broadcast their religious beliefs in every thread. Hopefully it's the only one.
That being said, I agree that the graphics are horrible. The concepts are really cool for each pedal, but the art looks like it came from a school notebook.
I'll be anxious to hear feedback and samples from those who pick up the HAIL SATAN and give it a go.

while i do understand where your comming from, they're just making pedals, the names are all joke-y, and not meant to deter people away. also, the graphics look a lot to me like the Zvex handpainted stuff.. only reason i dont like that is because i'd rather it be a few bucks cheaper and not hand painted/painted with graphics/ext.

i listened to a few samples and do agree its pretty common stuff here. but, still cool and usefull, and most importantly not too expensive.

I'd have to agree on the names and graphics, not from any religious or political standpoint, I just find these things a bit too infantile. Trying too hard to be tough. I would not buy because of this, but that's just my grumpy old guy preferences shining through I guess.

As to the sound I have no clue but they probably produce much the same noise as other clones of the same type. :)

Beyond my like or dislike for metal music, the goofy satanic stuff is just... well, it smacks of "14 year old white boy". I'm no christian, but pentagrams/skulls/demons? Yawn.

What's everyone's opinion on these guys? Anyone have experience with their pedals?

Listened to a few demos and I like what I heard.
Have to agree with previous posts though, not really into the name/graphics thing and from a marketing perspective, those elements might be shutting the maker out of a few markets. That's a shame, because they really sounded good and the pedals look well built. Had someone come up with this stuff in the late '60s/early '70s, they would've made a killing !

>sigh< these guys might be serious, or seriously misguided. Some people poke fun of Hell as a bit of a joke...the problem is...if it's real, then it's no laughing matter. You'd be in there 30 seconds and realize you've made the biggest mistake of your life but then it really would be too late...the choice is made.

Eh, that isn't my concern at all. Heck, "concern" is the wrong term. I just find demon/satan/death tats/art/shirts to be idiotic. I know I'm not alone here, but I've seen death and violence and it is *not* fun. It boggles my mind to see a 20 something girl with a demon tat / skulls / etc on her shoulder - good luck explaining THAT to the grandkids. Just silly. If you "worship satan" I guess you can go wild, and if you a stone-cold killer than go nuts... but most of the folks who embrace this stuff are either frustrated teens, young adults who have yet go grow up or... well, whisky tango folks. Of course, that's all just my opinion (hence my lack of tats, etc). I think I'd get a unicorn tat before I'd get a pentagram - at least I know chicks dig unicorns!

Not gonna lie, the first one on the page with the caricature of the hero pig about made me piss myself. Humor is certainly subjective though, and I can tell this stuff really bothers some people.

I may have to purchase one and give it a try. I enjoy laughing at immature stuff. Hell, a day without a fart joke is a day without sunshine in my book.

i assume it's crossed your mind that you're offending odin, zeus, ra, quetzacoatl, and my limited tolerance for Pascal's wager arguments by acting as if a hell (like, anyone's hell - i'mma assume yours is a christian hell) is real.

the actual biggest mistake of your life would be living in fear of mythology that can't hurt you, but sure as heck can make you abdicate your responsibility to care for your fellows and waste a lot of time thinking about stuff that isn't relevant to real-world problems.
