Hall and…Fripp?

And also her nearly naked working out videos with him playing along beside her. I mean Chr**t on a Sidecar, I really loved Toyah's work back in the day, knew her old man. Local girl done good but what an inauspicious curtain fall for them, both folks in their 60's, both excellent artists and just for a couple of quid off Youtube. Not sure you'd see Siouxie Sue flashing her m*nge for likes on YT, pretty sure about that. Each to their own though.
I don't know, they look like they're having fun...

Toyah’s been a nutjob extrovert since forever, and even if she’s had some work done, she’s still got it, so why the hell not flaunt it. The vast majority of comments on all those vids was overwhelmingly positive. They’re an unlikely couple anyway, and all that was them being textbook British eccentrics, or maybe just being plain goofballs. That was a mad season anyway.

On the other hand, I saw Siouxie perform in May, and she has not aged well; she had the moves, but her voice was gone.

Agreed on all points.

Too bad about Siouxie, have seen her many times, always an impressive performance.

Aging sucks, but I guess it's better than the alternative...

Yeah, tru dat. Live and let live and well, if I were 16 again I think they may be a few kleenex's in my bedroom after watching that but I'd have to find a way of editing out Fripps mug before the vinegar strokes :jawdrop:.

Uhh, yeeeah… Although it’s been a few years, I’ve had the pleasure of standing by and chatting with both Hayley Mills and Twiggy on separate occasions, and with the former, it was a good thing that my girlfriend(now wife)was there; with the latter, I was at work but I wasn’t exactly working.

Oates has songwriting credits on a lot of their big hits, I bet there is a lawsuit coming to challenge that. I don't know if Hall & Oates sold their publishing for the big buyouts like everybody else yet, but if I was a betting man I'd bet that would have something to with what looks like to me, that Hall laying the groundwork for lawsuits to challenge Oates contributions.:)

"Daryl Hall is suing his Hall and Oates bandmate, John Oates, as first reported by Philadelphia. Hall filed his complaint against Oates, Aimee J. Oates, and Richard Flynn in Nashville’s chancery court on Thursday, November 16. The latter two defendants are labeled as co-trustees of the John W. Oates TISA Trust.

Hall’s lawsuit is currently sealed, meaning very little information about its content is known publicly. Online records indicate the case involves “contract/debt” and that a temporary restraining order was issued in the case.

Pitchfork has reached out to Daryl Hall’s attorney, Robb S. Harvey, as well as a representative for John Oates for comment and more information."

I could be wrong, but it seems that Andy Summers may be doing something similar regarding Every Breath You Take next year.

If I had a body like Toyah does, I’d totally do the same thing. She’s a riot and quite talented. Neither of them did it for the money…they did it to have a little fun during the pandemic. I think it’s great.

I haven't watched that episode yet, but definitely plan to. I LOVE "Red" and actually played it in one of my first bands.

I was very surprised by the guest list for upcoming "Daryl's House" shows. Also, I had no idea that Fripp and Hall had worked together before.

Fripp and his wife? Funny I guess. I kind of have to ask ... "Why?"

Hall and Oates feud: Yeah I, read about Daryl's restraint order on John. Sad.
