Why apologize? I think it looks great! (but I have a thing for Yamaha BBs and I actually like orange guitars... Usually, they're Gretsches, though).

I don't really apologize. I just get a lot of comments on my BB415 -- mostly from non-musicians -- to the effect of: "Wow...that thing is really...orange!" To which I typically reply: "Orange ya glad it's not just plain black?"

OP, that is about the coolest thing for Halloween I have ever seen. I bet it turned some heads at those shows!
