Halophase review (finally, I've only owned it 8 months...)

As for the waiting list thing.... On their web page they state the longest waiting list they have is on the Echoczar, being 12 months.

FWIW I've been on the list for a Halophase for a bit over a year already.

Also Toasted, I'm surprised to hear the Openhaus is so good for bass! I remember reading somewhere the builder posted a message saying he did not recommend it for bass due to low-end rolloff. Is yours modded?

I recall him saying it wouldn't be suitable for bass because it was noisy I'm sure one of us right but Toasted has assured me it's not noisy and they do look uber cool

It's a prototype low gain overdrive pedal that Ed suggested I might like to try. It's very good, I'm not sure if I prefer the Dove or my Dredgetone Angler. They're both excellent.



Openhaus on bass is really nice. The EQ is phoenomenal, you have to crank the bass, but that's no problem. I'll PM you a clip at some point this weekend.

And yet again, I'm reminded of the Angler, which I'm on a list for, and the waiting is difficult. I'm emailing Ed about getting on the list for the Halophase. And now GAS for the Openhaus. Toasted, you're either the best or the worst thing that's ever happened to me. Let's see how that works out....

Yikes, that is expensive! But it does look like it's worth it... hey if the quasar doesn't work out for me- this will be on my list

Yeah fair enough... I wouldn't have a clue. Just going by what it says on his site.

So do you have any idea when you might be getting yours?

I got on the list the day it opened in 2006. It took one year and one day for Halophase #14 to arrive.
