hamer monaco bass recording

just in case someone is bored and wants to check out some new music

this was a recording i started at my house in my attic room a few years ago , recordings at my house were always unusual .
I'd have a drummer friend come by and set up the mics and let him go , do whatever he wants
then ...write the song around whatever he did , the complete wrong way to write a song - yes
....but , that's how we've always done recordings ......
i used local musicians ( friends ) to help me fill in the gaps and this is what came out ....

it's a single 30 minute piece , split up into different sections , if you skip about 30 seconds you'll probably be into a different section
it's a bit rough in spots ( not perfect ) to keep a garage band type effect ..

music wise , it can be very heavy ( sabbath type ) or it can be very mellow and quiet and lots of weirdness
it was put out on stormspell records ( independent label ) which specializes in 80's metal , thrash and heavy rock type styles

i used my MONACO BASS , a eden wt800 head with a EAW 2x15 ported cab mic with a shure beta 52 mic

the guitar was mostly recorded with a yamaha sg800 that i own , through a bedrock 1600 head and single bedrock 1x12 cab , with an occasional
ibanez tube king in on certain parts ........

recorded with a mac and digital performer software ...........

i do loud vocal on a few short sections and i play bass
