HAMER SLAMMER BASS

that actually isn't that cheap, i have bought squier p basses thatwere 150 and i stil have it almost 5 years and it works. The bass version might be different from the electric guitar and the frets miggt be norml. I don't know, if you like, it get it, and see if the ebay seller can back you up with 30 day return or whatever. :hmm:

Dude! The Hamer Slammer P-bass was my first ever electric bass that I got in 8th grade! I played it exclusively for 3 or so years and it did a great job. In fact, I can't believe how well it held up through all of my stupid early bands and shoddy setups.

My nephew has it now, but it still has my thumbprint in the first position on the back of the neck, where I would rest it.

I played a $200 used Hamer Slammer Impact, basically a MM ripoff with a passive humbucker, 1 volume knob and a tone knob that apparently doesn't do anything. It sounded quite nice when I played it, although, almost anything sounds nice through a Mesa Walkabout. :p Might actually buy it - I could put a real humbucker in there and bring the tone to life.

Where are the Hamer Slammer Impact made?

thanks,

Fred

With a bit of work the Hamer Slammer can be transformed into a hell of a nice Gibby clone that playe and sounds better than most Gibby's.
